Are you a proactive and highly organised professional with a talent for supporting senior management? Eastlight Community Homes is looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Executive Team.

As the Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive and confidential support to the executive team and principally the chief executive. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the schedules of the executives, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard. This role demands a high level of discretion, initiative, and relationship management, along with the ability to exercise mature and independent judgement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Team.
  • Effectively handle customer and other stakeholder queries on behalf of the Chief Executive.
  • Maintain and manage the Executive Team's diaries, arranging meetings, and appointments, and ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and available.
  • Organise, facilitate, and attend meetings, taking minutes as needed to support effective decision-making.
  • Assist in preparing and collating reports, presentations, and other documents for the Executive Team, Board, and Committees.
  • Undertake research and analysis as required.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with employees, Board members, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and diplomacy.
  • Seek efficiency and value for money in your work and that of the executive support service.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant.
  • Highly skilled at managing customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Confident in engaging with executives, customers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Committed to upholding our customer-first ethos by proactively addressing customer concerns, including directly handling complaints when necessary or upon request.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with a focus on prioritising effectively and working efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Expertise in diary management, minute-taking, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

  • £32,058 annual base salary
  • Working Hours: 37 hours per week, with a flexible working pattern to be agreed upon through negotiation across the working week.
  • Flexible working location with some office-based days required each month
  • 12 months Fixed Term Contract
  • Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the    employee’s contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
  • Annual wellbeing grant of £200 per annum – Subject to eligibility
  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Trailblazing family leave [Maternity, Paternity and Adoption – 12 weeks full pay / 6 weeks half pay] – Subject to eligibility
