The Role
We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Supporting the Finance Manager in delivering effective financial assistance to the assets and development teams, including maintaining and updating the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate VAT recording and analysis for fixed assets and development spend, and providing reliable financial information and analysis.
The role involves maintaining accurate fixed asset records, supporting month-end and year-end reporting, assisting with budget preparation and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with VAT and asset management procedures. Additionally, the role requires building strong cross-departmental relationships, supporting financial projects, and contributing to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the Finance team.

- £35,374 per annum
- Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week
- Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee’s contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
