The Role
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join Eastlight’s Finance Team on fixed term/Secondment basis!
The successful candidate will provide strategic and financial insight to Eastlight’s stakeholders, approach the business with a forward-looking perspective and be able to present key points of an argument persuasively. Leveraging proven experience, you will influence decision-makers effectively and support budget holders in developing practical solutions through detailed analytical reviews.
As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will prepare detailed and accurate monthly reports for designated areas, lead business review meetings to communicate financial performance, and maintain key financial records such as accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations. The successful candidate will also support year-end processes by preparing statutory notes, responding to audit requests, and assisting budget holders with forecasts. Additionally, they will coordinate responses to budget setting and re-forecasting activities, ensuring assumptions and calculations are thoroughly reviewed and challenged where necessary.
Benefits and Compensation

- £60,476 per annum, pro rata
- 9-month fixed term/secondment, full time, 37 hours per week
- Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee’s contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)

- Annual wellbeing grant of £200 per annum – Subject to eligibility
