We are seeking a Risk and Assurance Advisor to join our Strategy, Governance and Assurance team on a full-time, permanent basis!
In this role, you will help enhance the culture of risk, fraud, Health & Safety and assurance awareness across the organisation. You will lead in co-ordinating and implementing the risk management framework and delivering anti-fraud, bribery, corruption and money laundering risk management activity. You will identify and communicate emerging risks and fraud threats, and work with the business to ensure the quality of operational and strategic risk registers and fraud risk assessments. You will be part of a team that delivers our assurance and resident led scrutiny programmes and will undertake second-line assurance activities such as testing of Health & Safety controls.
Your day-to-day duties will be varied and includes testing internal controls, collaborating with the business, writing reports, overseeing fraud awareness campaigns, managing the fraud register and co-ordinating risk management activity. In addition, you will help deliver training on fraud, risk, and assurance, while embedding Eastlight’s values into everything you do.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a second line role in risk management, assurance, or Health & Safety along with experience of working with fraud, bribery, corruption and money laundering. Strong organisational and communication skills are a must have, relevant qualifications are desirable. You will be proactive, detail-focused and confident in challenging management when needed.
